Odalys Garcia Gallery

To C. from C. Cesare Pavese

Vittorio Corcos You,
flecked smile

wind up frozen snows of March
ballet classes
erupted in the snow, moaning and glowing

Your little "O"
hind limbs from white
nice, I know I could

still

soaring grace of all your days
the lace of foam
all your ways - has frozen future

down the plain -
you smile you laugh mottled
burning.

***** You,

dappled smile on frozen snows -
wind of March, ballet

sprung on the boughs of snow,
moaning and glowing
your little "OHS" -
white-limbed doe,
gracious,
Would I Could
know yet
the gliding grace
all your days off, the foam-like lace

all of your ways -
to-morrow is frozen
down in the plain - you
dappled
you glowing smile laughter.
