Andre Derain/1924
from country to country he walks
bringing the cabin on his shoulders,
from country to country, from the valley
the hill.
And when he meets a small village,
he stops for those three brats,
called Harlequin
rolled his eyes to his advantage,
called the princess and her handsome pageboy
that make even some simpering, and
Brighella, heart of gold, and Columbine, rose in May, and picked up some good penny
capannel from a little evaporates, he continues
of the open road on his way ...
Everything with him: the house, family,
goods, dreams, the world and everything is
slightly behind him as a quick look
blink of an eye.
