Antonio Lopez Garcia / Carmencita / 1966
Children who think they have the eyes
'winter, long winter. Suns
s' support to his knees to see his eyes light up
in the sun.
beyond itself in the sky, girls
wires
light rain touch my hair, sun
be laughing with chapped lips.
have passed through the centuries words
's love and mercy, but the girls clutching her shawl
go sun sun in the sky and rain. The roof drips
Birds of the gutter.
